Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Mulliner Bentley's custom coachbuilding unit, has created a unique keycase to mark the 100th anniversary of the brand. It is constructed of Dark stained Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes an eagle-like "B" paperweight, keys, and an unreleased booklet with 1930s 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

Bentley is a brand that takes its aesthetics seriously. This is evident in the precise placement of its quilting as well as the use of leather that is made from products of cattle and sustainable-managed forests, and the ingenuous patterns of its levers. The Continental GT is the most sophisticated open-top Bentley ever designed. Its rear tonneau, as an example, showcased the largest piece of dark-stained, book-matched Burr Walnut veneer ever applied to an actual production Bentley. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in the year 2019 one hundred years after it was established. Design

Bentley Mulliner reinvented and designed the Mulsanne to be the ultimate Grand Touring vehicle. It features two opposing pairs of rear seats modelled on luxury private aircraft that provide passengers with unbeatable comfort and security. A custom heating, air conditioning, and ventilation system has been developed to ensure that every passenger has the ideal temperature control.

In addition to a set of elegantly executed styling revisions The Mulsanne is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre W12 engine that can produce 560bhp and 479lb-ft of torque. This power is paired by a brand new suspension system that gives Bentley's famously quiet ride.

In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a unique specification known as the Centenary Specification for vehicles built in 2019. The cabin features cross-stitching and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings on the headrests and seats are stitched in Centenary Gold, adding to the feeling of celebration. A custom Bentley key case is also included in the Centenary Specification, making the Bentley experience all-inclusive.

Function

The Bentley Mulsanne Key has two buttons that open the trunk, and another that starts the vehicle. The key also has a button to turn on the parking brake. There is a knob that can fold and unfold the mirrors while parking in tight spaces. Utilizing this feature can aid in getting in and out of your vehicle more easily.

Each key takes two days to make. The key is cut by hand, then shaped, stitched and sealed, then polished to achieve a high-quality result. It is light and compact, and it fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key however, it feels heavier and has a more premium feel.

It also comes with Secure-A-Key which prevents theft of keys with no key. This device is put into the remote-control fob and is disabled when the key isn't used for a few minutes. It blocks thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices which can unlock and start the car.

Bentley's distinctive design reflects the company's values, which include fine craftsmanship, engineering expertise and cutting-edge technologies. Its headquarters in Crewe are home to more than four hundred employees who are responsible for the design, development, and production of Bentley vehicles. Personalisation

Bentley Key Fob Programming (Busch-Mills.Hubstack.Net)'s Mulliner division lets customers design their car. The customers sit at a set of images called "mood stations" and pick a set of photos ranging from picturesque views to sporting events that are inspiring to them. Each time a selection is made, the pattern that emerges reveals the model of the Bentley, as well as the color and style preferences for the custom Bentley.

The resulting configuration is saved to individual R.F.I.D.-enabled keys, which are presented to guests in a hand-crafted key case. Keys can also be equipped with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps, which illuminate the door-opening path with the owner's name and/or emblem as they make their way towards the vehicle.

Bentley estimates that it takes around 500 man-hours to build and assemble the Mulsanne. The unwillingness to embrace modern technology is the key to this laborious task. The Crewe factory workers do not use a machine to space perfectly-matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead they do it by hand. Drivers have to park their cars manually, not using sensors built-in to guide them into perpendicular and paralell spots.

Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization capabilities with a special Mulsanne W.O. Edition, that pays homage to the William Osler, the founder of Bentley. Edition, which pays tribute to founder William Osler Bentley. The limited edition cars include a key that displays a piece of the 1930 8 Litre crankshaft.
