It's important to note that these seats don't recline fully however, they can be adjusted to the lowest position which should still give your child plenty of headroom and space to move around.

A sling seat made of cloth is also available, which is positioned snugly inside the frame instead of over the top of a modular seat and this delivers a much lower centre of gravity and perfect weight distribution. This makes it easier to push, particularly over bumpy terrain and curbs. MFM reviewer Kath liked the way this style of seat dealt with the obstacles.

This type of buggy comes with an enormous basket, along with other useful features, such as an extended hood with 50+ UV protection, a simple to use brake pedal, and a few innovative lights for visibility that can be positioned on the front of the passengers to ensure safety when riding on rough terrain.

Storage

Tyres

These tyres absorb bumps and uneven surfaces to make your child's journey more comfortable. They're commonly found on pushchairs like the Phil and Ted's Sport which MFM reviewer Kath discovered to provide "an outstanding ride for my toddler". She also said that its grippy tyres made it easy to navigate cobbles and kerbs.

These tyres are sometimes difficult to maintain their inflation and will need to be filled regularly. These tyres are more prone to punctures, and it is recommended to always carry a repair kit and spare inner tube when you're out and out and about.

PU tyres can be found on more pushchairs than the air-filled tyres but they are still just as robust. PU tires are easily distinguished by their matte finish and soft feel. They also slide across flat and tidied surfaces.

If you rub your hands over the tyres, then you can tell if they're PU or rubber. If it feels like it is sliding then it is a PU. You can also confirm whether your buggy has PU tyres simply by sliding the tyres over flat, clean surfaces They'll roll easily and fit snugly in their wheel hubs.

Foam tyres are commonly used in high-performance buggies and joggers since they are able to cope with the rough terrain common to this type of pushchair. The drawback is that the foam may shrink and make your buggy appear less stable as it loses its springy feel.
