You can alter the shelves in both compartments to make the perfect storage solution. The GE PYE22PYNFS's design for the interior is attractive, too. The LED lighting is a nice feature. The bins for storage inside include a third shelf that can be folded down to store large items. The drawers are equipped with temperature controls, so you can set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. The drawers are easy to open and close, but I found the plastic's textured coatings a bit hard on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the all the features you'd expect from a fridge at this price with Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices allows you to control your refrigerator from anywhere in the world, and offers a ton of customization options. It also sends you notifications when the door is left unlocked as well as when the freezer or fridge requires defrosting, and when the filter has to be changed.

It would be nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill which is an option that is available in other GE refrigerators that allows you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to disperse at a time. The fridge displays a countdown timer to reveal how much water remains however it's not as useful as Precise Fill.

The top shelf on the right can be folded in order to create more space for tall items. There's also a full-width storage drawer for products from the deli and an inside water dispenser.

This refrigerator has a freezer with an ice maker, making it easy to transfer the frozen ice whenever you need it. It's also a little less than the most expensive counter depth refrigerator that comes with an ice maker, which makes it a desirable option.
