This Roomba is classified as one of the best vacuums available. It has the strongest AI obstacle avoidance we've seen and a mopping irobot system with dual rubber brushes that are less prone to tangling than bristle brushes.

It utilizes random (or bump) navigation instead of vSLAM, which can take longer to clean but ensures every space is sprayed. It also has a remarkable battery life and can be used on both carpet and hardwood floors.

1. Roomba i3+ EVO

The i3+ EVO features a chic matte gray top that resembles fabric and minimizes fingerprints. Its smart mapping technology uses advanced sensors to create a map of your house that helps it clean each space and avoid obstacles. You can also alter your cleaning preferences using the irobot roomba self emptying app, which offers recommendations based on your home and seasons (like running it more frequently during the season of allergy). The high-efficiency filter of the robot is able to trap 99 percent of allergens, including dust mites, mold, fur of cats and dogs. It also features edge-sweeping and cliff sensors and four brushes (including two long, multi-surface brushes and one side brush) and an incline tracker that keeps the Robot Vacuums iRobot on its designated route.

In our tests, the i3+ EVO was able to clean our floors quickly and efficiently. It easily transitioned from carpet to rugs and back again and had much trouble going over the metal or wooden trim that separates different flooring types. It did get into a few objects, like bags, pet toys and shoes, but was able move around them. It missed a few dirt spots on the carpet, but it did pick up pet hair elsewhere.

While it's a great choice for homes with carpeting, the i3+ EVO falls short of the other models when it comes to cleaning up crumbs and other debris. It has a difficult time vacuuming pet hair on carpeting and may not be a great choice for people who wish to have their robot completely replace their conventional vacuum cleaner. It is also not equipped with the superior obstacles-avoidance capabilities of premium Roombas like the s9+ or j7+, which makes it more prone to run into pet waste on floors and spread it out.

2. Roomba j7+

This is a great robotic vacuum for those who have carpet and hard floors. Its standout feature is obstacle detection that cleverly avoids things like cords, furniture legs, and even pet dander. It's also excellent at cleaning hard floors and picking up long hairs stuck in the brush.

The Roomba J7+ is different from other robots because it has the ability to alter its suction power. This is possible through the app. It also has a good map editor, and a section for favourites. The j7+ is quite quiet, especially in relation to higher flooring options. It is able to keep up with manual vacuuming.

The higher-end bots from irobot robot are known to perform better than their lower-end counterparts. In our tests, the j7+ managed to collect more dirt on both hard and carpeted surfaces than the 694 and did better in crevices. The only snag was that it did not perform as well in our more extensive human hair pickup test, which is a problem that occurs with all robots.

The j7+ has self-emptying Clean Base which will automatically transfer dirt from the robot's bin into an enclosed dirt bag each time it docks. This reduces the need for manual maintenance and is ideal for those with allergies. 3. Roomba i7+

The i7+'s ability to clean a room is a mesmerizing experience. It follows a pattern similar to how a lawn care professional trims a sports field before an event. It will sometimes return to the dock to empty its trash bin or recharge its batteries. Self-emptying is a welcome change to the way that most robot vacuums operate and can reduce hands-on maintenance requirements.

It also has a good deal of suction power, pulling dirt and pet hair easily. Even on carpets with a high pile, it manages to remove the majority of debris in just one swipe. It also can find areas with high traffic and spend more time in those areas. This is particularly useful if you have kids and pets who often bring in large debris from the outside.

Another excellent feature is Smart Mapping, which allows the i7+ to understand the layout of your home and create a customizable floor map while it vacuums. It took four one-hour sessions to map out my two-bedroom home, but once it did it was able to navigate the space logically and efficiently. The app lets you further customize the mapping by adding virtual boundaries or giving the rooms names. This means you can set the i7+ to sweep around the cat's litter tray each morning, or stay clear of the sofa in the living room after everyone has gone to bed.

The i7+ also comes with a sidebrush and a tangle-free spinning squeegee that are perfect to pick up any debris that might otherwise fall to the ground. It also has a battery with Recharge and Resume technology, so it will pick up exactly where it left off on a previous cleaning session in the event that you let it charge.

4. Roomba 694

The 694 is a great entry-level robot that can make your home cleaner but without the advanced features of higher-end models. It learns your habits of cleaning to recommend schedules, works with Google Assistant and Alexa voice assistants to allow you to begin cleaning with one click, and can be controlled using the iRobot app.

The dual multi-surface brushes clean dirt and grime from carpet and hard floors, while an edge-sweeping brush takes care of edges and corners. The battery will last for 90 minutes and docks back to the Home Base when it runs out.

The top panel has a large Clean/Power button in the middle, and the Home and Spot buttons to the left and right. A battery-level indicator glows in orange when it is charging and green when the robot has enough power to run. The dustbin slot is at the back and can be released when you press a button.

The Roomba 694 is excellent at navigating bare flooring and sucking up large debris such as rice and cereal. However, it struggles with smaller particles such as baking soda. It can also overflow its dirt compartment when it is filled. It doesn't do as well on low-pile carpet, but it still gets an excellent score compared to other robot vacuums that are priced in this range.

It is great at collecting pet hair, although some hair strands could get wrapped around the side brush. Its poor performance on kitty-litter is a source of concern, despite the fact that it scored the same as the other robots in this class. It beat our top pick (the Roborock S4 Max), by 19 points. The 694 is more expensive than the RoboVac 30C, but it feels more robust and has less maintenance requirements, incurs lower costs for recurring expenses, is much more quickly, moves over obstructions with ease and has superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with high pile. It comes with a bigger bin and is able to be used without internet access.

5. Eufy 11s

The eufy11s is among the most Affordable robot vacuum robot vacuums that are available. It's also a good option for those who want a reliable and simple machine. It can remove pet hair and other particles effectively on both carpets that are hard and low-pile It also excels in moving around obstacles and furniture. Its slim profile is ideal for reaching underneath low-clearance couches or coffee tables and other furniture, and it's also one of the quietest robovacs that we've tried.

This is the simplest model we've seen. It doesn't have features that are available in more expensive models. For instance, it doesn't work using an app, so you'll need to create the schedule with the remote control. It also doesn't offer a battery-level or dust bin alert, so you'll have to keep an eye on its condition and empty it when you need to.

This model is extremely robust and easy to maintain despite its cost. It has a long battery life, and it performs well on floors that are unfinished and around obstacles. It was able climb over low-lying obstacles such as electrical cords with ease during our tests. However, it experienced problems with high-pile rugs.

The eufy is a better alternative to the ONSON GOOVI, but we suggest a higher-end model when you can afford it. The iRobot Roomba 694 has a longer battery life, is more simple to maintain, and has a lower costs for recurring use. It is also better in cleaning floors with no dust as well as moving around furniture. It also has a larger dust bin.
